Kids Helping Kids
We have so many ways for kids to participate and lead — from local kid-hosted bake sales to dodgeball tournaments to crazy hat days at school. We put the fun in fundraising and make philanthropy accessible for all.
Here are a few of the kids who inspire us with their efforts.
These children have made a commitment to raise funds and awareness. Let their stories inspire you to get involved today!

I was inspired to help kids with cancer because I know one very special little girl who has cancer. I wanted to raise money in her honor and for other children to help them, while they fight this tough battle. One of my favorite memories of doing a bake sale was getting together with my friends and seeing all the people come out and support my fundraising efforts. I raised over $2,000 dollars in one weekend!

Sam & Evan
Sam: My favorite memory from the lacrosse tournament fundraiser that we organized is when we took a break halfway through and Evan and I explained to everyone there what we were doing and why we were doing it. It felt great to thank everyone there for helping out and for their donations.
Evan: Halfway through the tournament, we stopped the event and everyone formed a huge circle around Sam and me. We told the players and guests about Cookies For Kids’ Cancer and how we hoped to raise $5,000!

Helping kids with cancer is important to me because, for one thing, I love working with kids. Nothing makes me happier! From supporting Cookies for Kids’ Cancer all these years, I have learned that very little funding goes towards pediatric cancer research. And I think that all cancers should be treated equally. My family and friends were very proud and happy to hear that I was working with such a great charity and they are so excited to get their cookies! I hope to be able to visit some kids and bring my cookies!
