These Ginger Spice cookies are inspired by Tough Cookie Max who was diagnosed with retinoblastoma at eight months old. When Max was five years old, he was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, a consequence of the chemotherapy used to cure his metastasized retinoblastoma. He received a transplant of his father's bone marrow, but devastatingly passed away four months after being diagnosed, two weeks before his sixth birthday.

These sweet cookies honor “Mighty Max”, who inspired those around him with his strength, sense of humor, and love. The box of one dozen cookies features Max’s favorite color—orange—on the bright ribbon and a gift card sharing his story and photo.

Ingredients

Unbleached unbromated flour, pure cane sugars, crystallized ginger, butter, palm oil, molasses, pasteurized eggs, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg, salt, baking soda.

NOTE: These cookies are made in a facility that uses peanuts, tree nuts, milk, and soy. Trace amounts of these allergens may be in any of our cookies. Please note that natural grain dextrins and fruit juices keep the cookies moist without adding preservatives.

Cookies are baked and shipped Monday - Thursday each week. All orders placed by 11 a.m. EST will be baked and shipped by the following day. All orders placed AFTER 11 a.m. EST on Thursdays will be baked and shipped the following Monday.
