This is my love, my 15-year-old cancer fighter. Dylan has been fighting since 2005 when he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He relapsed in 2009 and had a bone marrow transfer. Then, after almost five years, he relapsed again on Memorial Day, May 26, 2014. We are staying three hours from home at the Ronald McDonald House and getting treatment at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland, Oregon and at Seattle Children's Hospital in Seattle, Washington. Dylan is a sophomore at Taft High School in Lincoln City, Oregon. He loves his leadership class and is constantly thinking of others above himself. God is good. We have a family of 8 and feel blessed to have Dylan. He is such a fighter.
