Morgan

Our daughter Morgan was diagnosed with stage IV high-risk neuroblastoma at the age of 5. She has tirelessly fought through 6 years of cancer treatment including chemo, radiation, surgery and multiple rounds of antibody therapy. She has suffered 6 relapses during this time. Thankfully, she is currently NED (No Evidence of Disease).

Cookies For Kids Cancer has held a huge part in giving our daughter hope, in the form of a life-saving treatment for her cancer. She helped to fundraise at the age of 6 for the very trial that Cookies For Kids Cancer helped to fund, hu3f8. Currently, Morgan is on a two year clinical trial of hu3f8. This trial is keeping the cancer at bay, while she lives life as a normal 12 year old.

Now, at 12 years old, Morgan is an advocate for childhood cancer research. Through bake sales, pageants and various other fundraisers, she speaks of the need for better, less toxic and less painful treatments so that other kids won't have to endure what she has for more than half of her young life.
