Mila
Our 2.5 year old daughter, Mila, suffered 2 hemorrhagic strokes in 3 months. Her doctors did a craniotomy on her on March 1st, and found a tumor the same size as the bleed which was very large. They had to perform an emergency blood transfusion on her to save her. Pathology had a hard time identifying the tumor.
I wasn’t told it was grade 4 malignant until I was discharged but they knew for 2 weeks so it hit me hard. We’ve been home for 2 weeks now and I just got the news that she has a very rare grade 4 gliosarcoma belonging to glioblastoma with rhabdomyosarcoma components which aren’t commonly formed together. The hematologist told me it is terminal, but we are going to do everything in our power to beat all odds and be a miraculous testimony.
