Alyssa

Alyssa was Diagnosed with Leukemia Lymphoma in 2011 when she was 3 years old, she is 7 years old today. Alyssa had to go through three and a half years of intense Chemotherapy; it was a really hard time for our family. Once the doctor told us that it, our life changed forever and we were not sure if she was going to make it. Today she is in remission and has to be followed for five years. I try not to think about relapse but it scares my to death just thinking about that. The year 2014 was really stressful for our family. Alyssa got her port taken out March 22nd which is a good thing but still nerve-wracking. We never wavered from our faith.

Alyssa has some complications . She was recently diagnosed with Glycoma and the eye doctor wants to see her every year. All in all we are doing great considering what we have been through. We have a nice home now and Alyssa is doing great. Thanks so much for listening to my story.
