Zach
Our son Zach was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) in February 2014 at age 2 1/2. Zach had stopped walking and complained of pain in his legs. The doctors determined his diagnosis following blood work and an MRI on his legs. Zach turned 3 in August, and now in November, we are actually very close to reaching the maintenance phase of his treatment. Despite everything he has been through, I have been amazed at Zach’s resiliency. He always has a smile on his face. He is feisty and definitely has an opinion on things — and he lets you know it! He is also so sweet and loving and wants to give out hugs. Zach loves his big brother, Josh, and playing with monster trucks and building with Legos. He loves books, playing soccer, and riding his bike. Zach is our amazing little guy! We still have a long way to go in this journey but we are getting there. We are proud to support Cookies for Kids’ Cancer and appreciate the many people all over the country who get involved to raise money for childhood cancer research.
